Build the House of Prayer
At IHOP-AC, our hearts are alive and burning with a clear mandate from God to establish day and night prayer in our region. We long to see a place raised up where people can encounter God 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We believe that from this place of worship and intercession, righteousness will be established in God’s people and from that place, justice will flow to the region.
We have purchased a building in the downtown Burlington area. We believe partnerships in the areas of praying, giving, and working will help in the establishment of day and night prayer…Come partner with us to build the house of prayer.
Pray.
Commit to praying with us daily. The only way that a house of prayer can be built is through prayer in the power of the Holy Spirit (Zech. 4:6). Carry agreement in your heart with God for what He is doing in our region in your personal or corporate prayer times. Come and join us in corporate intercession to intercede for the region.
- -Pray God would set watchmen (intercessors) on the walls of intercession in Alamance County
- On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves; (Is 62:6)
- -Pray that God would build His house of prayer (the praying church) in Alamance County.
- ‘…My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations’… (Mk 11:17)
- -Pray God would grant provision in the physical building of IHOP-AC and that He would be pleased and glorified in all we do.
- “Go up to the mountains, bring wood and rebuild the temple, that I may be pleased with it and be glorified,” says the Lord. (Hag 1:8)
