Prayer Room Schedule
Devotional Worship
The function of this set is to provide a corporate atmosphere for personal encounter with God. During these times, we set our hearts as Mary of Bethany did: to sit at Jesus’ feet, adoring Him, and feeling His affection for us (Luke 10:38-42). This is a time to provide an atmosphere most conducive for personal prayer, worship, Bible study, and meditation.
Worship with the Word
The function of this set is to provide an atmosphere for a corporate ascent of meditation on the scriptures through song. Singing is possibly the greatest avenue for meditation on the scriptures and the most impacting on the human heart. We sit before the Lord and allow Him to wash over us with His Word (Eph. 5:26-27), fill us with His Spirit (Eph. 5:18-19), and we meditate on His Word (Psalms 1:2). During this set, the worship team leads the corporate group in ministry to God and meditation through song.
Intercession (Corporate Intercessory Worship)
In this set, we set our hearts to agree with who God is (worship), and what He desires to do (prayer/intercession). We stand as priests before God, to ask Him to manifest His desires on the earth (Matt. 6:10). From the place of intimacy, we stand in authority to cry out in intercession.
